As a freelance Art Director I’ve worked on a variety of projects, from retail to financial institutions to nursing homes. I have designed sites that use responsive technologies in order to take advantage of the varying types of consumer access points such as cellphones, tablets and large screen formats. I’ve created campaigns that used social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, successfully integrating them with digital catalogues and other online media advertising. From ideation stages to designing full concepts, I have successfully presented creative and campaigns to notable clients that include Hudson’s Bay, Ariad, Colour and Tribal DDB.
Senior Interactive Art Director & Web Designer @ Leo Burnett 2010 – 2012
I worked a majority of the time teamed with a copywriter. As a team we would present creative from concept to completion, to group heads and clients. I worked on a number of brands, including Kellogg’s, Bell, IKEA, Elections Canada and Bounce. I briefed and directed outside vendors for illustrations, song creations, animation, and production. Designed mobile sites, rich online media, interactive work and brand iconography.

I worked with teams on campaigns and presented creative from concept to completion for clients including Monster Canada, Gillette and Campbell’s. This included websites, newsletters and online banners. I also briefed and directed outside vendors for production with detailed documents and walkthroughs.
Web Designer / Front-End Developer @ Arc Worldwide, Leo Burnett 2005 – 2009
I was brought in for mainly production on Visa.ca. Worked with designers when producing their designs and gave creative input for showcasing ideas and content. Updating the website with the latest web standards cool tricks to make the user experience more enjoyable. Because of this, I was able to work on other high profiled brands website production. When I had down time, I worked on website graphics, online banners, and design websites with the guidance of an Senior Art Director. I slowly moved from production to presenting design concepts to clients.

From designing site architectures, websites, online ads and content strategy, to working with a programmer on producing my designs, I was able to quickly understand the importance of the relationship of design and production. Designed offline promotional marketing like magazine ads, banners and posters for festivals and concerts. Today it has outlasted numerous Hip Hop online magazines and positioned itself to be one of the most visited urban online magazines.
